Event Volunteer - Harewood Welly Walk

Description of the role:

On Sunday 19 May, the RNLI will be hosting the first Harewood Welly Walk. This will be in support of our Mayday campaign in which we are asking people to do their bit, fund our kit. All the money raised from this event will go towards funding our crew's vital kit. We're looking for volunteers to help us out on the day with a variety of jobs available:

- Stewarding the route
- Registering participants
- Helping to set up and clean up the event
- Handing out goody bags
- Providing general information and support to participants and the public

Information will be sent ahead of the event as well as a full briefing provided upon arrival at the event.

Strong background and skills in:

- Organisational
- Friendly
- 'People person'
- Working as a team

Overall, you support what the RNLI does and the work of our crew men and women.

Practical information:

This is a one-off event. Volunteers are required from 8am - 1/2pm (dependant on the time of the final walker).

Volunteers can volunteer for a minimum of 2 hours or the duration of the event.

There is a bus stop within walking distance of the Village Hall which supports 36, 781 and 923 bus routes. There will be limited parking at the Village Hall and around Harewood.

Reasonable food and travel expenses will be covered.
