Awareness Raising Volunteer
RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People)
Description of the role:

Building relationships with local organisations, being an ambassador for RNIB by setting up and delivering information stalls with local retailers, groups, health fairs etc. You will be working with a member of staff and/or other volunteers.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

• Ability to use your own initiative
• Good people skills
• Good verbal communication skills

Practical information:

This is a flexible role, how often depends on how many stalls are organised.

Travel and refreshment expenses are provided, including for induction and training.

Full induction and training provided.

Full support and supervision provided.
