Group Leader
Experience Community CIC
Description of the role:

Experience Community CIC are a not-for-profit organisation offering rambles and rides for adults with physical disabilities. We are looking for adults to come and volunteer and enjoy the rambles and bike rides with us, whilst helping support the running of these activities.

We have opportunities for disabled and non-disabled people.

These activities will be led by staff from within the organisation but we require volunteers to help. We provide full training in the use of all our equipment and we are keen to recruit volunteers with an interest in the outdoors.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

We are particularly keen to recruit cycle leaders or walk leaders, or anyone with outdoor group leadership skills, but we can teach you everything you need to know if not.

Practical information:

We have immediate opportunities Tuesdays 11am-3pm and the first Thursday of each month 11am-3pm. These activities are in the Huddersfield or Wakefield areas. There are other weekend activities, see events on our Facebook page, in the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District for example. You can volunteer as and when you like, it doesn't have to be every week. Please contact us with your availability or to ask any questions.
