CLIC Sargent Volunteer Fundraising Group Leader

Description of the role:

We need enthusiastic, dedicated and creative volunteers to join our new Fundraising Group.

Every day, 11 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer. Life for families will never be the same again. This is where CLIC Sargent steps in and where fundraising groups can help the fight of young lives against cancer.

A Group Leader is essential in bringing the group together and being the key point of contact for activities. You will also be involved in publicising the group and recruiting new members so together we can stop cancer destroying young lives. What will you get from it?

• A dedicated Fundraising Engagement Manager to support you every step of the way
• An induction to CLIC Sargent and our work
• Training in areas such as health and safety, planning events and working with the media
• Meeting new, like-minded people who want to make an impact on our continued fight for young lives against cancer and our drive to reach even more young lives
• Leadership experience for your CV
• Developing your people management skills
• The chance to organise fundraising events and activities
