Description of the role:

Helping to provide fun activities for children and young people from Service families. We run a play session for children aged 5 - 9 years and a youth club for young people aged 10 - 16 years.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

You should enjoy working with children, young people and groups and have an interest in helping to organise activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, baking and games.

Practical information:

2 hours a week term-time, or on a regular basis.
You will receive an induction into your volunteering role, training (e.g. Introduction to Play Work / Youth Work, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, basic First Aid) and receive ongoing support from a Community Support Development Worker.
