Organisation Information

North Yorkshire Advocacy regrets to inform you that as of 14th January 2019 we will no longer be taking any new referrals to our service.
It is with great sadness that after over 20 years of supporting vulnerable people across the county that Advocacy will close its doors on 31st March 2019.

We help men and women to manage the difficult issues of life when they are feeling vulnerable.

This might be when accessing health care, or financial institutions, or dealing with social care. It may be that you just don't know how to access the services you need and we can act as a signpost to help you. If you, or an adult you know, perhaps with a limiting physical condition, or suffering from poor mental health; feeling vulnerable perhaps through age, physical or mental impairment or just the pressure of circumstances, we may be able to help.

North Yorkshire Advocacy, under our Safe Hands project, works with people struggling under the strains of managing modern day demands of mail and finance. Volunteers help clients to manage their finances, preventing debt, financial abuse and ill health due to stress.
