Description of the role:

Main purpose of the role is: To increase volumes of donated goods and generate income for Scope

Range of tasks to be carried out:
- Talking to customers and making them feel welcome in the shop.
- Advising and helping people as they make purchases.
- Operating the till and dealing with various methods of payment.
- Answering customer enquiries.
- Keeping an eye on the security of the shop.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

We are looking for:
- The ability to get along with people and volunteer as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy.

Practical information:

Usual hours and time frame to be arranged with Shop Manager. We are looking for a minimum commitment of 1 hour per week.

Volunteers will be supported (including reasonable adjustments) from the Shop Manager to understand tasks (To be reviewed every 4 weeks)

Volunteers will receive training in:
- Using the Steamer
- Using the Ticketing Gun
- Manual Handling (moving and carrying boxes).
- Cash (To be reviewed every 8 weeks)
