Description of the role:

We are looking for fosterers to provide a temporary loving home for cats or dogs that are in RSPCA care whilst waiting for a suitable permanent home to be found, in accordance with RSPCA policies. You will assist the RSPCA in finding a permanent home for the animal by providing photographs and written information regarding personality, behaviour etc.
You would need to transport the animal to the vet on behalf of the branch if necessary and maintain records on the animal's health and behaviour. You would need to allow potential adopters to visit the animal in your home.
All costs for bedding, food etc will be reimbursed and full support will be given throughout.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

A animal lover with knowledge of cat/dog care and behavior.
An interest in animal welfare and sharing the values of the RSPCA.
The ability to chat to potential adopters.
