Support Worker For Print Finishing Trainees

Description of the role:

Could you spend at least one half day per week (9.30 - 1.00 or 2.00 - 4.30) volunteering in a small friendly team supporting people with learning and physical disabilities as they undertake a variety of print-finishing packing tasks such as collating, stapling, folding, envelope stuffing, etc? You can join the group and volunteer side by side with others in the volunteershop or you can support people on a one-to-one basis in areas that they want to develop in- such as helping with job applications etc. There is flexibility depending on the individual volunteer. Can you provide support with some basic IT skills, emailing, searching the internet, using software? paperworks is also actively looking for people to support an outreach operation for Nidderdale residents in Pately Bridge.

Listening, practical, caring, patience, sense of humour!
