Harrogate Homeless Project (HHP) is a registered charity providing a successful rough sleeper resettlement scheme, hostel accommodation for 16 homeless adults, a day centre, Springboard, and a specialist support service for adults with multiple complex needs facing exclusion. HHP services support vulnerable adults with a variety of support needs including drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues and other often complex needs. We are currently recruiting a Psychotherapist/Counsellor to continue our innovative therapy service for clients.

Psychotherapist/Counsellor: Required to work on a part time basis for 12 hours per week (days and working hours to be agreed). The post is based at our hostel and/or day centre in central Harrogate. The main purpose of the role is to provide a counselling/psychotherapeutic service to clients of HHP. Many of these clients will have experienced chronic complex trauma and will require an approach to psychotherapy which is flexible and appropriate to their needs.
