It's Student Volunteering Week and so we thought we'd take the opportunity to highlight a few of the local roles available to under 18s. Volunteering is a great way to gain references, experience for your CV or UCAS form and to learn more about different types of careers.
Our new online Where to Turn directory is free to use and contains information about over 600 charity services, support groups and community activities across Harrogate district.
Back by popular demand the HARCVS Social Media Surgery will be at Ripon Workhouse Museum on 13 March 2017. The Social Media Surgery runs from 6.00-8.00pm and offers friendly one to one advice for charities, groups, clubs and societies about using social media.
HARCVS Introduction Sessions are held quarterly and last for around an hour.

Our Volunteer Centre service matches up people who want to volunteer with hundreds of local roles.
Our HELP project provides services for vulnerable people living in the Harrogate District.
